Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 2026
MedicPal is reader-supported. This page explains exactly what that means, in plain language, as the FTC requires.
The short version
Some links on MedicPal are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. That commission is how we pay for products, testing, and keeping the lights on.
What “affiliate” does NOT mean here
We are not affiliates in the sense of taking money from brands to feature their products. Brands never pay us for reviews, ratings, or placement. We buy every product ourselves, at full price, in New York stores. Our affiliate relationships are with retailers and affiliate networks — never with the brands being reviewed.
Does it change prices?
No. You pay the same price whether you use our link or go to the store directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's side.
Does it change our opinions?
No. Reviews are written before and independently of any commission consideration. We regularly give low ratings and “skip it” verdicts — a site chasing commissions would not do that.
Where you will see this
In addition to this page, every review carries a short disclosure at the bottom, and our footer repeats the essentials. If a relationship ever goes beyond standard affiliate commissions, we will say so in the article itself.
